Christmas is around the corner, and if there’s one person I struggle with each and every year, it's my Dad. He’s the type of person that when you ask ‘Hey Dad what would you like for Christmas?’ he simply says 'Oh don’t worry about me’ . Frustrating right? This year however, I’ve had a little help from Philips and Star Wars: The Last Jedi ….
I have my Dad to blame for many of the ways I have grown up. My passion for film making and photography, my impatience, my outgoing nature, but also my love for Star Wars. I remember as kids, watching the originals on the pull out bed and the trips to the cinema to see the prequels. We would also spend hours together playing the videos games whilst laughing at Dad as he nailed the impressions of the Characters.
Thats why I can’t think of anything more perfect to make my Dad's Christmas just that tad more special than gifting him something that will make him reminisce, but actually also prove quite useful. I was delighted to see that Philips are also just as excited for the new launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi as I am, as they’ve made a global partnership with Disney and LucasFilm, bringing out five different special edition shavers.
These character-based, incredibly highly detailed shavers are perfect for the clean shave. We have BB-8’s iconic orange and white colour scheme on the SW5700 and the SW3700 which is (my personal fave) R2-D2 has blinking on/off lights that mimic his mannerisms. Both are also equipped with self-sharpening, precision ComfortCut blades for a clean shave.
Every detail has gone into the design of these electric shavers making the overlook super cool. For anyone who favours a clean shave and also can’t deny a love for that galaxy far far away, this is the perfect gift for Christmas. It's practical, it will liven up the bathroom and it will make the shaving routine just that extra bit more fun.
I know my Dad and as much as he loves getting the usual of slippers, shirts and a new pair of trainers, this is something I can guarantee he won’t be expecting (unless he read my blog lolz). You can find R2D2 HERE and BB8 HERE
If you're just as excited for Star Wars: The Last Jedi as I am, then I'll see you in the cinema on 14th December!
