So as some of you may know, it was my sisters wedding this weekend, so time for me to be a lady. My first girly venture was getting my nails done at the salon, first time for me so pretty exciting! I got glitter pointed tips (I am in love with Lana Del Ray’s style so it was her fault) and they look plenty vagazzled. I then sorted my hair out, as the colour scheme I was going for was cream and gold, I thought it would be brilliant to add a splash of violet, in the form of my hair.
I bought my long dipped hem chiffon dress with a cut out back and sides from Miss Selfridge and to my delight it was in the sale, a £20 bargain! The cardigan was from good ol’ primark for £6, a gorgeous plum with complmentary gold buttons. To add a sparkle, my shoes were from Mr Shoes (my worky) for only £20! Not bad! I accessorised with pearls as they are always succeed at adding that dash of classic glamour, oh and there’s that head band… about that…
…I made it! I’ve already done the tutorial, but this was literally the easiest thing to make! It only took my 5 minutes and as I was watching Crocadile Dundee, it didnt witdhdraw my attention from the Croc restling hero for too long.
I bought the flowers from Hobby Craft for 99p a stem and the selection was wonderful, something for everyone! The Alice band was one I found laying around my house so it was just a matter of snipping the heads off and wrappng the wire around securely. Bingo! A beautiful accessory (another Del Ray inspo) that complemented the hair colour and the rest of the wedding get up.
To conclude, the day was wonderful, I had my share of cake and really loved my outfit, but the most beautiful part of the day was of course, my big sis.
